We are official members of the United Nations Global Compact and we support its ten principles for responsible business
Areti Bank is pleased to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative, a voluntary leadership body for the development, implementation and dissemination of responsible business practices, in favor of the development and well-being of everyone in the world.
With this announcement, Areti Bank is proud to join thousands of other companies worldwide that have also committed to environmentally and socially responsible business actions, to create the world we all want: a more just and sustainable one.
The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. In addition, it seeks to act in support of the United Nations goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Established in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories in more than 160 countries and more than 69 local networks.
“At Areti Bank we are proud to be official members of the United Nations Global Compact, as part of our commitment for responsible business, to build a sustainable future and a fairer society and welfare for all,” says Dimas Palmar, CEO of Areti Bank.
